This, our second week in Venice, the group visited The Accademia Gallery, The Frari, San Zaccaria and Salute churches and Palazzo Grimani. Susan and Louisa showed what is essentially some of the major artists and architects to the group, bathed in gorgeous colour (that made up for the rather cold and misty mornings!)
In the afternoons the redoubtable Charles Hope and Andrew Hopkins then spoke, in our lovely cosy lecture room about many of the things that we had all seen...Giorgiones...or not? Longhena's wonderful architecture of the Salute church...so much more, but here are some photos
